Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using DetailAhead, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you're using DetailAhead on behalf of a business, you're confirming you have the authority to bind that business to these terms.

2. What DetailAhead provides

DetailAhead is booking, customer and finance software built for car detailing businesses: customer and vehicle records, order scheduling, a public booking page, finances, inventory, team management, and automated customer messages, described on our pricing page. Every account starts with a 14-day free trial with no card required; after that, continuing to use DetailAhead requires an active subscription on one of our published plans.

3. Accounts & team members

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. If you invite team members, you're responsible for what they do with the access you grant them, and can change or remove that access at any time from Settings > Team. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from Settings > Billing — a cancellation keeps your access until the end of the period you've already paid for, then doesn't renew. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use DetailAhead for any unlawful purpose, or to store data you don't have the right to hold.
• Use the automated messaging or public booking page features to contact people who haven't consented to hear from your business, or to send anything other than genuine booking-related communication.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the platform, including another business's account or customer data.
• Resell or sublicense access to DetailAhead without our written permission.

6. Your data

You own the customer, order, and business data you put into DetailAhead, including data collected through your public booking page. We only access it to operate the service, provide support, or as you direct. You can export a full copy of your data at any time from Settings, and if you close your account, it's kept for 30 days before permanent deletion in case you change your mind. 7. Intellectual property

DetailAhead, our logo, and our product design are owned by us. These terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding beyond what's needed to use the service normally.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

DetailAhead is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of DetailAhead after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
