Payroll

Let DetailAhead calculate your wages. Set a pay type and rate per team member, and it tracks what everyone's earned since they were last paid — turn this off and pay rates and payday reminders both switch off with it.

Payday

A recurring day each month payroll is due. You'll get a reminder around this date if anyone has unpaid earnings on file.

Click a day to set it as your payday.

Pay rates

How each team member gets paid. Assigning someone to multiple jobs at once splits what they'd earn solo evenly between them.

Invoices

Raise invoices for completed jobs and download them to send. Turn this off and the Invoices nav link and auto-creation both switch off with it.

Create invoices automatically

Raise an invoice the moment an order reaches Completed, ready for you to download and send from the Invoices page.

Payment details

Free text shown on every invoice — bank details, a payment link, "cash or card on the day", etc.

Expense categories

Offered when adding a cost on Finances or restocking an item in Inventory. A restock is always tagged Inventory regardless of what's here — these are for everything else.
